Chris attended his first convention in 2005 dressed as Cloud Strife and was bitten by the cosplay bug, though he wasn’t able to return to the cosplay scene until 2016 the memories of that first convention stayed with him. He considered the idea of a cosplay store a few years later but life threw a series of roadblocks his way. Now with the finished idea of Silver Dragon Cosplay he hopes to be able to help give back to a community he has enjoyed being a part of.

A latecomer to Cosplay, Liz attended her first convention in 2016 tagging along as a Harry Potter Extra (though Chris thought she should have been a Fem Harry Potter!)

Silver Dragon was the final title of Chris’s dream cosplay shop, it had evolved from The Dragons Forge – Chris was determined to have a dragon in the name somewhere! – and was his way of trying to help the cosplay and LARP communities easily find materials and tools at affordable prices. Silver Dragon still has a long journey ahead of it to truly provide for these communities but its a journey we are excited to take!
